Responsibilities

This role is in with Department of Risk Management, using analytics to reduce fraud and credit losses, identify new customers, and drive revenue growth.  

  • Develop models and strategies that are used in various stages of the business, such as underwriting, fraud prevention, and collection.
  • Explore new data or new technologies to improve efficiencies of the existing decision process.
  • Apply analytical thinking to different business problems, translate analytic findings into actionable strategies to have a measurable impact on business.
  • Work independently or cooperate with other teams such as Credit policy team and Marketing teams in various types of analytical projects.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, and Industrial Engineering.
  • At least two years of working experience in data analysis or modeling exercise.
  • Solid programming skills in SAS and SQL, or other statistical modeling packages.
  • Can-do attitude and be open to new assignments when there is a business need.
  • Ability to work well in a cooperative and time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
