The Director of Marketing is responsible for taking the lead in developing successful, long-term marketing strategies for digital and storefront. The right candidate will have in-depth marketing experience, a passion for digital technologies, be forward-thinking, and have a strong analytical mindset.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) for the Director of Marketing 

  • Create strategic marketing plans for channel specific campaigns and across the customer journey
  • Seek to add value, show initiative, and provide marketing knowledge
  • Continuously search for opportunities to innovate, expand and mature our marketing strategy
  • Drive innovation through new channel ideation and partner exploration
  • Possess the expertise to drive audience engagement, be data focused, and agile in activation and optimization
  • Manage marketing budgets in partnership with Finance to ensure targeted goals are met
  • Partner with storefronts to maximize customer journey and ensure a cohesive brand message
  • Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase market share and optimization
  • Discover ways to increase customer satisfaction and returning business
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing developments and technologies
  • Hands-on leader that drives with both a vision and strategy, helping a team grow
  • Work closely with the Product and Operations teams to define marketing materials and programs
  • Ensure timely and effective executions of marketing objectives
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and competitors and adjusts strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions


  • 8-10 years of well-rounded marketing/business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion and identifying market trends
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a marketing team
  • Digital marketing experience required, retail experience preferred
  • Strong Project Management and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
