Position Summary:

Check Into Cash is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join our team. We are interested in hiring a strong individual who is also a self-motivated solution provider who can think strategically and tactically. The Manager will drive strategy, execution, and analysis of automation programs. In addition, the individual will focus on long-term planning and continual testing.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage the planning, building, development, and execution of email automation, sms, and survey programs for retail and online
  • Oversee email communication program in support of cross-departmental initiatives
  • Develop and optimize triggered email programs and define business logic behind customization, campaign priorities, flows, frequency, and cadence
  • Create a robust testing calendar, communicating results and insights for next steps
  • Collaborate with UX to increase knowledge of customer flow and loyalty framework
  • Manage external vendor solutions and relationships to execute and monitor email marketing campaigns and resulting site traffic and visitor behavior
  • Analyze and continually drive email technology integrations and advancements using available platforms to deliver leading-edge personalization and revenue optimization
  • Manage the monthly budget, forecast, and goals
  • Provide leadership, strategic direction, and digital expertise to the Email Marketing team
  • Develop, maintain, and provide performance reports that track the efficiency and effectiveness of email campaigns
  • Create and implement short and long-term goals
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive marketing message across all channels
  • Responsible for all facets of reporting, measuring, and segmenting-related traffic
  • Ensuring all regulations are implemented and followed
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed


Skills Required:

  • Extensive knowledge in Email / Automation Marketing and developing, driving, and analyzing automaton programs to improve performance and retention
  • Understanding automation technology, CAN-SPAM compliance, and best practices
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
  • Possess a hunger for solutions and results and have a high degree of curiosity to drive improved and continuous improvement
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of optimization techniques involving A-B and multi-variant testing
  • Ability to comprehend financial modeling and category segmentation to highlight and communicate actionable opportunities is essential
  • Strong leadership skills and the uncanny ability to apply forward thinking to the way automation marketing is defined and executed
  • Meticulous attention to detail, while handling multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3-5 year’s experience directly managing and leading automation campaigns
  • Proven track record in managing and optimizing a budget to hit goals
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and work independently
  • Energetic and collaborative team player
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous success executing email marketing campaigns
